While many people have already been checking out the space and enjoying the seating and new shade structures, we’re excited to officially announce that Corner Commons is open and ready to welcome you for another summer!

What is Corner Commons?

Corner Commons is a community-led public space located at the southeast corner of the Jane/Finch intersection in the parking lot of the Jane Finch Mall. It’s a free, accessible and joyful space created with, by, and for the Jane-Finch community that will be open from now until September 30th.

Everyone is welcome to have a seat, hang out, and enjoy the outdoors!

We’re planning to host a wide range of activities again this year with local artists, resident leaders, grassroots groups, community organizations, and other partners. Stay tuned for information about our first activity happening tomorrow!
