CITY COMMUNITY CELEBRATION

We’re excited to invite you to join us for a special community celebration marking an important milestone for our organization: two years of impactful work in the Jane-Finch community, alongside the recognition of the Toronto Community Champion Award for Etobicoke-York.

The evening will begin with the unveiling of Flourishing Joy, a vibrant new mural by artists Pamella Chang and Jamera DaCosta, celebrating creativity, connection, and the spirit of Jane-Finch.

We will also launch Through the Lens of Dreamers 2.0, the return of our annual outdoor exhibition, featuring 16 artworks by 14 resident artists and highlighting powerful creative voices from Indigenous, Black, and other equity-deserving communities. And, a soft launch of our Youth COMMET program, for a 6 - 9 week paid mentorship and training initiative for underserved youth (ages 13 - 29) in the Jane-Finch (Black Creek and Glenfield-Jane Heights) and surrounding communities.
